Overview We are a growing multispecialty Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) in Daly City, seeking an experienced and motivated Nurse Manager to lead our nursing team and support the continued growth of our center. Our primary surgical specialties include Ophthalmology, Pain Management, Orthopedics, and Spine , with additional specialties and services continuing to expand. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced perioperative nurse who is ready to take the next step in their career and play an important role in the development of a growing ASC. The Nurse Manager will oversee the day-to-day nursing operations of the ASC while maintaining a strong focus on patient safety, quality care, staff development, regulatory compliance, and efficient surgical operations . The ideal candidate will have strong OR circulating experience and be comfortable working collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, nurses, and administrative leadership. This is a hands-on leadership position . The Nurse Manager should be willing and able to step into clinical roles, including circulating, Pre-Op, and PACU, when needed. Responsibilities Provide leadership and oversight for nursing operations throughout the ASC. Supervise and support Pre-Op, PACU, and OR nursing staff . Coordinate daily staffing assignments based on patient volume, procedures, and staff competencies. Maintain a safe, efficient, and patient-centered surgical environment. Serve as an experienced OR circulating RN and provide clinical support as needed. Assist with Pre-Op and PACU operations when necessary. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and administrative leadership. Participate in hiring, orientation, training, competency assessment, and performance evaluations of nursing staff. Participate in quality improvement and performance improvement activities. Assist with preparation for regulatory surveys and accreditation visits. Promote adherence to infection prevention and patient safety practices. Monitor documentation and ensure appropriate completion of clinical records. Participate in emergency preparedness activities, drills, and response planning. Assist with supply, equipment, and medication management. Identify opportunities to improve workflow, efficiency, patient experience, and clinical outcomes. Participate in staff meetings, education, and ongoing professional development. Support a positive, respectful, and team-oriented workplace culture. Qualifications Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license . Current BLS certification required. ACLS certification required. Strong OR circulating experience required . Previous ASC or perioperative leadership/management experience strongly preferred . Experience with multiple surgical specialties preferred. Ophthalmology, orthopedics, spine, pain, or vascular experience is a plus. Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills. Excellent communication and leadership abilities. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment. Strong understanding of patient safety, infection prevention, and regulatory requirements. Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and hold staff accountable while maintaining a positive team environment. Pay:
