RN Night House Supervisor
Job Description
We are adding a 2nd Shift Clinical Coordinator to orchestrate hospital-wide patient flow, manage staffing ratios across all departments, and serve as a resource for night shift staff. Facilitate patient admissions, discharges, and transfers; adjust nursing staff assignments, reallocate personnel based on unit acuity, manage sick calls and staffing shortages; assist bedside staff, equipment failures, interdepartmental bottlenecks. May include some weekend and holiday nights. Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university and Registered Nurse License issued by the Kansas State Board of Nursing is required. BLS and ACLS certification required.
Additional certifications:
PALS, TNCC, Conscious Sedation, and NIH Stroke Scale Certification. Kansas Medical Center is a fully physician owned 58 bed hospital offering a wide array of specialties for both inpatient and outpatient services. We have 6 operating rooms, 2 procedure rooms, 2 Cath Labs, and outpatient services that include X-ray, CT, MRI, PET, PT, Lab, and Cardiac Rehab. In addition to our main campus, KMC operates 3 Family Practice clinics, a large cardiology clinic and multiple cardiology outreach clinics throughout the state of Kansas.
