PRN Charge Nurse Job Summary We are looking for an LPN or RN to be a PRN Charge Nurse. We would prefer a nurse that could do either Day Shift or Night Shift as needed to fill holes in our schedule due to vacation or sickness. We provide Long-Term Care and Assisted Living, and there is a CMT or LPN on the Assisted Living Neighborhoods 24/7. Duties Supervise CNA's and CMT's to ensure adherence to best practices in patient care. Coordinate patient care. Oversee the care of our neighbors that reside here. Make sure all medications and treatments are administered and charted on our EHR. Monitor patient outcomes and adjust care strategies as necessary. Provide support to nursing staff. Ensure compliance with Baptist Homes policies, safety regulations, and quality standards. Ensure that all neighbors care plans are followed and that the nursing team provides all needed care to the neighbors. Experience Nursing in Long-Term Care and Assisted Living. Familiarity with State and Federal Regulations. Strong clinical skills in providing care to the elderly, including wound care. Experience working with patients and families. Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively. Commitment to providing compassionate care while maintaining high standards of practice.
