Job Summary and Qualifications The Clinical Informatics Coordinator (CIC) is responsible for the facilitation and leadership of facility Clinical Informatics by leading the implementation of and providing ongoing support for corporate/division/facility projects related to clinical informatics, including:
- Standardization
- Utilization
- Integration
- Optimization The CIC is the critical facility resource responsible for supporting the implementation of and providing ongoing support for corporate/division/facility-wide standardization, utilization, integration, and optimization activities related to the electronic health record and other clinically related technologies.
What qualifications you will need:
Education:
Associate degree in nursing Bachelor's degree preferredLicensure/Certifications:
Current (per State) RN license Nurse or Health Informatics Certification is encouraged Basic Life Support (BLS)Experience:
Minimum 1 to 3 years of clinical experience in an acute care hospital setting Meditech experience is strongly preferred.
