RN Duties Include:
Daily operations of assigned unit in the skilled nursing facility. Communicates with families regarding the Resident's plan of care and any changes in the condition of the Resident. Receives and communicates information to the staff and keeps Director of Nursing/Assistant Director of Nursing informed of needs and current developments. Supervises the RN, LPN, and trainees during the orientation period and/or delegates this responsibility to the Shift Supervisor or Nurse on the designated shift. Conducts nursing rounds as needed. Educates staff, oversees the implementation of new policies and procedures and periodically reviews current procedures, working in collaboration with the
DON/ADON
on Development as needed. Handle all supervisory duties for the unit. Mentor less experienced nurses, offering clinical & career advice. Establish the standards of care for the unit. Review Resident records & quality of care. Monitor overall care & review individual Residents' cases. Address questions brought forward by Residents or their families. Represent the unit's interests with the upper-level management.
RN Requirements Include :
Experience in Long-Term Care. Must hold valid RN License. (Required) CPR Certification (Required) Basic computer skills. Excellent communication skills. We offer the
