Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as the Long-Term Care (LTC) House Supervisor. This leadership role is vital in overseeing nursing operations within a long-term care facility, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.

13 weeks Start date: 09/01/2026 Pay rate: Gross weekly $2801 for 36 Hours Stipend weekly $1246 non taxable Taxable weekly $1555 taxable on W2 Duties Provide direct supervision of nursing staff, including nurse management and team leadership, ensuring adherence to clinical standards and facility policies. Oversee patient care activities across all shifts, including conducting physical examinations, vital signs monitoring, and comprehensive patient assessments. Ensure compliance with state healthcare regulations, HIPAA privacy standards, and long-term care regulations to maintain accreditation and legal adherence. Coordinate interdisciplinary collaboration for discharge planning, medication administration, IV infusion management, catheter care, and tube feeding protocols. Manage medical documentation accurately using electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Cerner or Epic; ensure timely updates of medical records and reports. Supervise clinical procedures including venipuncture, sterile processing, specimen collection/processing, and infection control practices. Monitor utilization review processes and assist with case management to optimize patient outcomes and resource utilization. Lead staff training initiatives on topics such as dementia care, behavioral health management, acute pain management, and emergency response procedures. Facilitate communication between healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient transitions within the facility or to external providers. Maintain inventory of medical supplies including DME (durable medical equipment), catheters, and other essential items; oversee sterile technique adherence.
