Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as the House Supervisor for night shifts. In this vital leadership role, you will oversee patient care operations, coordinate clinical staff, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations during overnight hours. Your expertise will help maintain high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency across the facility, fostering a positive environment for both patients and staff. Duties Provide clinical oversight and leadership for nursing staff during night shifts, ensuring optimal patient care delivery. Coordinate patient assessments, vital signs monitoring, and medical documentation to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Supervise the administration of medications, injections, IV infusions, catheter care, and other treatments in accordance with nursing policies and HIPAA regulations. Manage emergency situations including airway management, ventilator support, and critical care interventions such as cardiac catheterization or spinal taps. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate discharge planning, case management, and utilization review processes. Ensure compliance with state healthcare regulations, long-term care standards, and hospital policies while maintaining accurate medical records using EMR systems like Cerner or eClinicalWorks. Lead team management efforts by supervising nursing staff, managing staffing levels, and fostering effective communication within the care team. Experience Proven experience working in acute care settings such as Level I or Level II trauma centers or ICU environments. Demonstrated expertise in critical care procedures including ventilator management, tube feeding, phlebotomy, and sterile processing. Strong background in medical-surgical nursing with additional experience in geriatrics, behavioral health, dementia care or memory care preferred. Familiarity with

ICD-9/10

coding systems, CPT coding for procedures like gastric lavage or suturing, and utilization management practices. Prior supervisory or nurse management experience leading multidisciplinary teams within hospital or long-term care facilities. Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Athenahealth; knowledge of HIPAA compliance essential. Excellent skills in patient assessment, physiology knowledge, medical terminology understanding, and managing complex cases involving acute pain or chronic conditions.
