Description This position guides nursing staff and supports daily clinical operations to ensure safe and consistent care for residents. It involves communication, coordination, and supervision across multiple nursing functions. As a Registered Nurse Supervisor, you will perform the following duties:

Team Support:

Mentor nursing personnel and encourage collaboration across all care areas

Care Oversight:

Review resident treatment needs and direct staff to maintain therapeutic environments

Communication Duties:

Provide updates to staff, families, and administrators as needed

Staff Development:

Coordinate training, reinforce policies, and track participation in improvement activities

Record Management:

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment, 40 hours per week

Work hours are 2:45 PM to 11:15 PM, with a 30-minute lunch. This position requires rotating on- and off-duty days, including weekends and holidays.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

Three years as a Registered Nurse (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or

Four years of professional nursing experience providing care and treatment services consistent with those needed for individuals with a mental or physical injury or illness and/or a developmental disability.

Special Requirements:

This position requires active authorization to practice as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania.

If you possess an active temporary practice permit, you must obtain licensure as a Registered Nurse within the one (1) year period defined by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.

Other Requirements:

PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.

You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Legal Requirements:
