Night Shift Charge Nurse - RN Supervisor

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Charge Nurse
•RN Supervisor to oversee nursing operations within our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will possess extensive clinical expertise, leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. As a Charge Nurse Supervisor, you will coordinate daily nursing activities, supervise staff, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and foster a collaborative environment that promotes high-quality care. This role offers an opportunity to lead a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced, patient-centered setting while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. Responsibilities Provide direct supervision of nursing staff, including scheduling, performance evaluations, and mentorship to ensure optimal team performance. Oversee patient assessments, vital signs monitoring, and medical documentation to ensure accurate and timely clinical records. Coordinate care plans in collaboration with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to meet individual patient needs. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations, state healthcare laws, and facility policies regarding patient privacy and safety. Manage medication administration, IV infusion procedures, catheter care, and other nursing interventions following established protocols. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner for documentation, order entry, and data management. Conduct regular audits to maintain nursing policy compliance and uphold infection control standards. Facilitate communication between departments to streamline discharge planning, utilization review, and case management processes. Lead emergency response efforts including airway management, ventilator support, and critical & intensive care procedures when necessary. Experience Proven supervisory or nurse management experience in SNF is a plus. Strong background in medical-surgical nursing with additional expertise in geriatrics, behavioral health, dementia care, or long-term care regulations. Proficiency working with EMR/EHR systems such as PCC. Demonstrated knowledge of
ICD-9/ICD-10
coding standards for diagnostic evaluation and billing purposes. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental delays in assisted living or memory care settings preferred.
