Job Summary and Qualifications Under the direction of the Director, the Nursing Manager is responsible for assisting in planning and shared accountability for the standards and scope of nursing practice on their respective unit(s). The individual manages the flow of patients and information to expedite care, collaborating with the physicians. Demonstrates clinical competency and nursing judgment, teaching skills, and a commitment to improving the quality of patient care. Will work closely with House Supervisor to determine needs of clinical patient areas and will then respond to and assist with these needs to provide optimal care in a changing health care environment. ​ What qualifications you will need: Current Utah nursing license in good standing Minimum 2 years in a nursing supervisory position (including Clinical Supervisor role) with minimum 3 years clinical experience in an acute care nursing setting Bachelor's degree required within 3 years of hire. American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification. American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Life Support Course (ALS or ACLS) and Certification. Basic Rhythm Interpretation Class required within six months of hire.
