Job Description

Job Summary Nabor-hood Recovery is an eating disorder recovery facility specializing in PHP (Partial Hospitalization) and IOP (Intensive Outpatient) treatment. We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Dietary Technician to join our team. As a Dietary Technician, you will work closely with registered dietitians and healthcare professionals to provide nutritional support and guidance to clients. Your role will involve ensuring clients are following current meal plan, providing meal support, leading nutrition groups, and preparing meals for clients that meet their nutritional needs. Responsibilities :
  • Assist registered dietitians
  • Educate patients on proper nutrition and portion sizes
  • Monitor patients' progress and chart in EMR system
  • Provide guidance on special diets and meal support
  • Assist with the implementation of dietary interventions
  • Conduct nutrition groups to support patients in achieving their nutritional goals
  • Document patient information accurately and maintain confidentiality
Requirements :
  • Associate's degree in Nutrition or related field (preferred)
  • Certification as a Dietary Technician (preferred)
  • Experience in working with eating disorders (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of human physiology and nutrition principles
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare team environment
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Skills :
  • In-depth knowledge of human physiology and its relationship to nutrition
  • Health coaching skills to guide patients towards healthy eating habits
