Key Qualifications:
Current California Occupational Therapy licensure Prior experience in school settings providing OT services Strong background working with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Comfortable supporting high school-aged students Experience managing caseloads of similar size and diversity Excellent communication and organization skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver Occupational Therapy services to high school students with mild to moderate needs Conduct thorough assessments and develop data-driven IEP goals Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families regarding student progress and adaptations Travel between two local school sites as part of your weekly routine Document and report on student progress in alignment with school and state requirements Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions Offer training and support to staff as needed to enhance student participation and independence You will succeed in this role if you are flexible, organized, and passionate about supporting adolescent learners in achieving their fullest potential.
