Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings, including home care, assisted living, and long-term care facilities. Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Engages residents in meaningful conversation, socialization and activity while providing personal care assistance Observe and report any changes in condition and report promptly to a licensed nurse Assist with meals tailored to individual dietary needs Dementia or Alzheimer's care, ensuring safety and comfort Maintain a clean, safe environment through light cleaning duties and proper infection control practices Follow detailed care plans developed by healthcare professionals Document patient observations accurately and report concerns promptly to supervising staff Skills Prior experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or hospice care preferred Certification in First Aid and CPR preferred Experience working with people with developmental disabilities, autism, or dementia enhances caregiving effectiveness Ability to assist with ADLs efficiently while maintaining dignity and respect for residents' independence Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when necessary; familiarity with equipment like Hoyer lifts is beneficial Compassionate attitude with patience, empathy, and excellent observational skills for patient safety and well-being This role is ideal for individuals committed to providing compassionate senior care or supporting individuals with disabilities.
