Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as an Occupational Therapist working with elementary-aged students this fall. This assignment spans from August 18th to December 18th to provide crucial support during a maternity leave, with the option to extend for the full academic year. Key Qualifications:

Current licensure and certification as an Occupational Therapist Previous experience in pediatric and/or school-based settings strongly preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to develop IEP goals and deliver therapy within a school environment Flexibility and adaptability as student needs evolve

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver occupational therapy services to elementary students as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Assess students' fine motor, sensory processing, and functional classroom skills Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to promote student participation and engagement Document services, progress, and evaluations in accordance with district and legal standards Assist in developing strategies and interventions that foster learning and independence This is a full-time role offering the opportunity to work closely with students, families, and school professionals, creating supportive and inclusive learning spaces.
