Job Description

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a school-based Occupational Therapist in the Wilmington area. This full-time role spans several years, offering meaningful work with a diverse student population across the district. Key Qualifications:
Active and valid Occupational Therapy license (attach with application) Previous experience or strong interest in school-based occupational therapy Commitment to fostering student independence and success Excellent communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Flexibility to adapt to various school environments and student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver OT services to students across multiple schools within the district Evaluate and assess students functional abilities in educational contexts Develop and implement individualized intervention plans tailored to student goals Document progress and maintain timely, accurate records in accordance with district guidelines Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional insight and recommendations to the team Work closely with teachers and staff to integrate OT strategies into classroom routines Benefit from the chance to make a real difference in students daily lives, while building your expertise in a supportive, collaborative educational environment. This is an onsite position, requiring engagement at school locations throughout the area.
