Exciting opportunities await for experienced Occupational Therapists eager to make a lasting impact in school-based settings. Three contract positions are available for the 2026-2027 academic year, beginning late August and continuing through early June. These roles offer a full 37.5-hour work week, Monday through Friday, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch each day. Specific caseloads include elementary, middle, and high school students, providing a rewarding variety of experiences and the chance to influence multiple age groups. You'll serve either at a single campus or support students across two sites, depending on the assignment. A strong commitment to student growth and interdisciplinary collaboration will be essential as you address a diverse range of needs within an educational framework.

Qualifications:

Active Delaware Occupational Therapist (OT) license required, submitted with resume Previous school-based OT experience strongly encouraged Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills Ability to manage varied caseloads and adapt to multiple school environments Not open to COTA applicants Willingness and ability to obtain $85 CBC fingerprinting, with understanding and acceptance of associated cost prior to presentation

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide direct occupational therapy services to students as part of their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to develop targeted interventions Conduct assessments, create progress reports, and document services in compliance with district and state guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning Travel between assigned campuses if needed, with organizational support
