We are dedicated to supporting children from birth to 21 years of age. With over 28 years of experience providing skilled therapy, we deliver skilled, research-based treatment to our patients. We have openings in our outpatient clinic and on our early intervention team. Our therapy clinic fosters a fun, relaxed, and rewarding work environment committed to excellence in pediatric care. Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for pediatric care and demonstrate expertise in developing and implementing evidence-based occupational therapy assessments and treatment tailor to the individualized needs of their patients. As a therapist with our team, you will assess and treat children with diverse needs and diagnoses. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments to evaluate motor development, fine and visual motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities in pediatric patients. Develop individualized treatment plans targeting areas such as assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), fine motor coordination, visual perceptual skills, and feeding. Implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions tailored to each child's unique needs. Assist children with disabilities in achieving developmental milestones through targeted therapy strategies and skill-building exercises. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including speech therapists, physicians, and case managers—to ensure cohesive patient care and discharge planning. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and manage electronic medical records (EMR) efficiently in compliance with healthcare regulations. Support families by providing education on therapy goals, progress updates, and strategies for continued development at home or school. Experience A strong desire to assist children attain their highest level of independence. Demonstrated expertise in pediatric occupational therapy assessments and treatment planning. Experience working with children with disabilities. Familiarity with medical documentation standards and medical terminology relevant to pediatric care. Ability to communicate effectively with clients' families and multidisciplinary teams to promote optimal patient care outcomes.
