About BK Kids Pediatric Therapy BK Kids Pediatric Therapy is a locally owned pediatric Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy clinic in Joliet, Illinois. We are a growing, family-owned practice that believes therapists provide their best care when they are supported, respected, and given the time they need to actually be therapists. Our clinic is designed to provide a fun, collaborative, play-based environment while giving clinicians autonomy in how they evaluate and treat their patients. What You'll Do Our Pediatric Occupational Therapists evaluate and treat children and young adults from birth through age 21.

Treatment may address:

Sensory processing and regulation Fine motor and hand skills Reflex integration Visual-motor and visual-perceptual skills Coordination, balance, and strength Executive functioning and attention Emotional and self-regulation Activities of daily living School readiness Functional independence and participation You'll work closely with children and their families to develop individualized treatment plans and provide strategies that can carry over into home, school, and community environments. Required Qualifications Pediatric experience is required for this position.

Candidates must have:

Minimum of 2 years of pediatric Occupational Therapy experience 3+ years of pediatric experience preferred Active Illinois Occupational Therapist license or eligibility for Illinois licensure Experience evaluating and treating pediatric clients Strong clinical reasoning and documentation skills Strong communication skills with parents and caregivers Ability to work independently while collaborating with other therapists This position is not currently open to new graduates. Schedule Full-Time | 4 Days Per Week Four 10-hour workdays with a consistent three-day weekend.

Typical schedules are approximately:

8:00 AM-6:00 PM or 8:30 AM-6:30 PM Scheduling is determined collaboratively based on clinic needs and therapist availability whenever possible.
