What You'll Be Doing As a Pediatric Occupational Therapist at BK Kids, you'll evaluate and treat children with a wide variety of developmental and functional needs.

Treatment may address:

Sensory processing and self-regulation Fine motor and visual-motor skills Gross motor coordination and strength Activities of daily living and self-care Executive functioning Emotional regulation Developmental delays Reflex integration School readiness Functional participation at home, school, and in the community You'll also work closely with parents and caregivers to provide education, home strategies, and support that helps children carry skills beyond the therapy session. Who We're Looking For We're looking for a solid, experienced Pediatric Occupational Therapist who is comfortable stepping into a pediatric caseload and practicing independently.

The ideal candidate:

Holds an active Illinois Occupational Therapist license Has previous pediatric OT experience Is confident completing pediatric evaluations and developing appropriate plans of care Is comfortable treating children with a variety of diagnoses and developmental needs Has experience with sensory processing and regulation Provides individualized, play-based, functional treatment Communicates well with parents and caregivers Is dependable, organized, and confident working independently Enjoys collaborating with other therapists Wants to continue developing professionally Is interested in growing with a pediatric practice long-term Please note: Due to the needs of our current caseload, we are seeking an experienced therapist and are unable to consider new graduates for this position at this time.
