Desired Qualifications and Experience:

Current and valid Illinois Occupational Therapy (OT) license is required Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is strongly preferred Understanding of early childhood development and interventions Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team Strong organizational and communication skills Familiarity with documentation and compliance standards for school services Any district or state-specific certifications as requested

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct evaluations to assess students needs and create individualized Occupational Therapy plans Provide direct OT services to early childhood caseload in accordance with IEPs or 504 plans Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student success and inclusion Maintain accurate and timely documentation as mandated by the district and state guidelines Participate in meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and parent conferences Assist with developing intervention strategies and adapting materials to enhance student participation
