Job Description School-Based Occupational Therapist Hourly Rate :
$60.00 - $65.00 per hour
Location:
Naperville, Illinois Onsite Position Summary Occupational Therapists are needed for the 2026-2027 school year in the Far West, Far Northwest suburban, and Fox Valley areas of Illinois. Opportunities include both short-term and long-term assignments, including full-time school year and FMLA coverage positions. The Occupational Therapist will support elementary and middle school students across general education, resource, and self-contained settings. This role focuses on providing direct and consultative occupational therapy services in a collaborative, student-centered educational environment. Responsibilities • Schedule / Shift Shift details: Monday-Friday following school schedule Hours per week: Full-time hours based on school schedule Contract length: 2026-2027 school year •
Key Duties:
Provide occupational therapy screenings, assessments, treatment, and progress reporting for students Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services in accordance with student needs and IEP goals Participate in and present at IEP meetings and student conferences with educational staff Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and related service providers to support student success Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned Requirements •
Education Required:
Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program •
Licenses & Certifications Required:
Active Illinois Occupational Therapist license through
IDFPR Preferred:
Prior school-based or pediatric experience
Skills :
