Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Valid Occupational Therapist license in Maryland Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Experience working in schools or with pediatric populations preferred Solid understanding of IEP procedures and documentation Adaptable, compassionate, and skilled in both individual and group sessions Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' motor, sensory, and functional needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans as part of the IEP process Collaborate closely with educators, support staff, and families to ensure cohesive therapy services Deliver targeted occupational therapy interventions in classroom and pull-out settings Monitor and document student progress, adapting approaches as needed Support staff with classroom strategies and resources to foster student independence You'll work 35 hours each week in a supportive environment that values your expertise and promotes student-centered care.
