Perm Occupational Therapist
Occupational Therapist (OT) - PermanentPosition SummaryProvide skilled occupational therapy services to help patients improve independence, functional abilities, and participation in daily activities. Develop individualized treatment plans based on each patient's needs and goals.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients' functional abilities and occupational therapy needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide therapeutic activities to improve strength, coordination, mobility, and daily living skills.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living and functional tasks.
- Recommend adaptive equipment and techniques to promote independence.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety, and home programs.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Follow patient safety, infection-control, and clinical standards.
Qualifications - Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current and active state Occupational Therapist license.
- Previous clinical or rehabilitation experience preferred.
- Strong assessment, communication, organizational, and patient-care skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Pay Rate
$25.00 - $40.00/hour
