Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity as an Occupational Therapist supporting elementary students for the 2026-2027 school year. Collaborate with a dedicated team to make a meaningful difference in students' lives, working full-time onsite in a supportive school environment. Beginning in mid-August and running through late May, you'll enjoy the chance to build strong relationships and deliver hands-on care throughout the academic year.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Minnesota Occupational Therapist licensure Experience or deep interest in school-based OT practice, particularly with elementary students Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and other therapists Ability to adapt to varying caseloads and creative problem-solving in student support
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct OT assessments, design individualized therapy plans, and deliver direct interventions to elementary-aged students Work closely with a team of OTs to divide schools and caseloads before the academic term begins Maintain timely documentation in accordance with school requirements Participate in IEP meetings, consult with faculty, and offer recommendations for classroom modifications and accommodations Foster students' independence and functional skills within the school environment
