Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity as an Occupational Therapist, working across communities near Saint Charles, Missouri for the 2026/2027 school year. This full-time contract position offers the chance to make a direct impact in the lives of students, supporting their participation and success within school environments in Florissant and St. Louis, MO. Earn between $50 and $60 per hour while contributing to school teams and helping shape students' independence and growth.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Licensed Occupational Therapist in Missouri Previous experience in school-based OT settings preferred Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and staff Ability to adapt activities and interventions to diverse student needs Commitment to providing inclusive, student-centered care
Key Responsibilities:
Assess students' motor, sensory, and functional skills within school environments Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Document progress, write thorough reports, and participate in IEP meetings Provide direct interventions, consult with educators, and train support staff as needed Promote student engagement in academics, self-care, and school routines Foster an encouraging environment that supports each student's unique strengths
