Contract Pediatric Occupational Therapist - School-Based - North Mississippi Simple Strokes Pediatric Therapy is seeking a dependable Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide pediatric therapy services in a school-based setting on a contract basis. Responsibilities Provide OT evaluations and treatment for school-aged children Develop and address functional goals related to fine motor, sensory, handwriting, self-care, and classroom participation Complete treatment notes, progress reports, and required school documentation Participate in IEP meetings as needed Collaborate with teachers, families, school staff, and other therapy professionals Qualifications Current Occupational Therapist license Graduate of an accredited OT program Pediatric or school-based experience preferred Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills Reliable and able to work independently Position Details Contract / 1099 position Part-time school-day hours Established caseload — no caseload building required Flexible scheduling based on school needs Competitive contract rate Mileage and/or travel time where applicable This is a great opportunity for an OT looking for flexible daytime hours while making a meaningful impact on children in the school setting.
