Qualifications:
Active OT license through North Carolina Board of Occupational Therapy (NCBOT) Graduate of an accredited OT program; Masters degree preferred Previous school-based OT experience required Skilled in motor screenings, OT evaluations, and functional skill assessments tied to educational outcomes Familiarity with standardized assessments used within schools; required experience with SPM-2 and Sensory Profile 2 Strong analytical and communication skills, competent in reporting and interpreting data for educational planning Must obtain NPI number and register with NC Tracks before start A background check, DCDEE fingerprinting, and district clearance are required
Responsibilities:
Direct therapy services and comprehensive OT assessments Document services and maintain compliance with workload model (approximately 25:15, subject to monthly review) Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families for individualized student goals Serve students K-12, with workload tailored to district needs across elementary, middle, and high school sites
