Qualifications & Experience Valid Occupational Therapy license from the North Carolina Board of Occupational Therapy (NCBOT) Post-grad OT degree; Masters degree preferred Minimum 1 year school-based OT experience required (NC experience highly preferred) Proficient in ECATS and IEP documentation Experience conducting motor screenings and standardized OT evaluations (SPM-2, Sensory Profile 2) Solid understanding of applying and interpreting functional assessment results in a school context Must obtain NPI number and register with NC Tracks prior to start DCDEE fingerprinting and district background check clearances required Primary Responsibilities Deliver occupational therapy services onsite across multiple schools on the western side of Wake County Complete thorough motor screenings, functional evaluations, and tailored intervention plans Collaborate in developing, implementing, and documenting IEPs; maintain accurate, timely records in ECATS Participate in monthly workload assessments to ensure manageable, student-centered caseloads Benefits & Perks Non-taxable stipends and travel assistance Premium pay, comprehensive health coverage, 401(k) Professional development in diverse settings Job security with year-round district support Interviews are happening nowdont miss out on this exciting chance to grow professionally while enjoying all that Cary, NC has to offer.
