We specialize in evidence-based, relationship-centered care for children with developmental delays, autism, neurological differences, learning differences, and complex medical needs. Our occupational therapists work alongside speech-language pathologists, physical therapists, behavioral professionals, educators, and families to promote meaningful and functional outcomes across therapeutic and educational environments. We are seeking a compassionate and dependable part-time/per diem Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) who is passionate about pediatric care and values clinical excellence, collaboration, and whole-child development. Position Overview The Occupational Therapist will provide individualized evaluations and treatment to pediatric clients through Crossway Pediatric Therapy and Crossway Academy. Services may be provided in our outpatient clinic, therapy-integrated school, and other appropriate community-based settings. This flexible position is ideal for an occupational therapist seeking part-time or per diem hours within a supportive, interdisciplinary environment. Scheduling will be based on therapist availability and Crossway's clinical and school-based needs. Responsibilities Evaluate children's physical, cognitive, sensory, emotional, developmental, and functional needs Develop and implement individualized plans of care based on evaluation findings, family priorities, and functional goals Provide evidence-based occupational therapy interventions that support: Activities of Daily Living, including dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding Fine-motor and visual-motor development Sensory processing and self-regulation Motor planning, coordination, and postural control Play, social participation, and school performance Independence within home, school, and community environments Provide services to children with autism, developmental delays, neurological conditions, sensory processing differences, and complex medical needs Collaborate with occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, behavioral professionals, educators, physicians, and other members of the child's care team Communicate effectively with families regarding progress, recommendations, and therapeutic priorities Provide parent and caregiver education, home programs, and practical strategies that support carryover Complete evaluations, daily treatment notes, progress reports, and other required documentation accurately and within established timelines Participate in care coordination, school collaboration, team meetings, and discharge planning as needed Follow all professional, ethical, clinical, and organizational standards Maintain current knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy practices and evidence-based interventions Qualifications Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program Current North Carolina Occupational Therapist license in good standing Current NBCOT certification as an OTR Experience working with pediatric populations Experience with children with autism, developmental disabilities, neurological conditions, or complex medical needs preferred Knowledge of pediatric development, sensory processing, motor development, ADLs, and functional skill development Strong clinical reasoning, communication, documentation, and time-management skills Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with an interdisciplinary team Ability to adapt interventions across outpatient clinical and educational environments Current CPR certification and required background clearances, or willingness to obtain them Position Details Employment type: Part-time/per diem
