Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Occupational Therapist to work in a school-based, itinerant setting near Matthews, NC. In this full-time contract position, you'll provide vital support throughout a maternity leave assignment, impacting students across various sites by delivering individualized OT services. The assignment is expected to run through January 31, 2028, with immediate start.
Qualifications:
Active North Carolina Occupational Therapist license (please provide a current snapshot of your license) Experience in school settings (desired: ECATS system knowledge) Comfortable working in an itinerant role, providing OT services across multiple locations Strong documentation and communication skills Ability to adapt interventions for a diverse student population Professional, collaborative, and flexible mindset
Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations and implement therapy for students with a range of needs in a K-12 environment Develop treatment plans and document progress in compliance with school policy and ECATS requirements Travel between school locations as assigned, providing consistent and high-quality services Collaborate with teachers, families, and multi-disciplinary teams to support student goals Participate in meetings (virtual interviews and team collaboration may be required) Maintain thorough documentation and timely reporting
