Job Description
We are currently looking for reliable, motivated individuals to join our garage door service team in the Charlotte and surrounding areas. This position is a good fit for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, working with tools, and being out in the field rather than sitting behind a desk. Previous garage door experience is preferred, but it is not required. We are also open to candidates with construction, handyman, maintenance, mechanical, installation, home service, or other related experience who are willing to learn the trade.
Responsibilities may include:
Assisting with and performing garage door repairs and installations Diagnosing basic garage door and opener issues Working with hand and power tools Replacing hardware, springs, rollers, openers, and other components as trained Traveling to residential and commercial service locations throughout the Charlotte and surrounding areas Communicating professionally with customers and team members Following company procedures and safety standards Learning new repair and installation techniques as neededWhat We're Looking For:
Must be 21 years of age or older Must have a valid driver's license Must be able to pass a criminal background check Reliable and punctual Strong work ethic Mechanically inclined Comfortable using tools Able to work independently and as part of a team Willing to learn and take direction Good communication and customer service skills Previous construction, installation, maintenance, handyman, or technician experience is a plus Garage door experience is a strong plus. This is a hands-on position that requires someone who is comfortable working in garages, around tools and equipment, and driving during their shifts. We are looking for people who want more than just a temporary job. We want dependable individuals who are interested in learning, improving their skills, and growing with the company.Pay:
