  • Develop personalized care plans to improve or maintain residents' ability to perform daily living tasks.
  • Implement therapeutic activities that promote physical, cognitive, and emotional well-being.
  • Recommend adaptive equipment and train residents in their use.
  • Modify the environment to enhance safety and accessibility (e.g., reduce fall risks, adjust furniture layout).
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including nurses, physical therapists, speech therapists, and physicians to provide holistic care.
  • Educate caregivers and staff on proper techniques for assisting residents and preventing injury.
  • Promote independence to enhance residents' self-esteem and quality of life.
  • Monitor progress and adjust interventions based on ongoing evaluations.
