This position, beginning in early September 2026, will allow you to make a positive impact while working a consistent weekday schedule for the duration of the assignment. You will provide therapy services to a caseload determined by school needs, ensuring every student receives individualized care that empowers them to succeed.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Occupational Therapy license in New York State required Prior experience in a school setting preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to adapt to diverse student needs Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services to support students' educational goals Evaluate students and develop treatment plans based on individual needs Work closely with educators, families, and support staff to create effective intervention strategies Maintain accurate, timely documentation of services and progress Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams Adjust interventions to meet evolving caseload requirements throughout the assignment Why consider this assignment?
