Job Description

Full Job Description StretchLab is seeking physical therapy assistants, personal trainers, athletic trainers, massage therapists, yoga and pilates instructors, and those with backgrounds in exercise science and kinesiology to join our team as Flexologists. StretchLab is the industry leader in offering one-on-one assisted stretching in an open boutique style studio environment. StretchLab's proprietary Flexologist™ Training Program (FTP) ensures that its client's receive a world class assisted stretching experience.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Deliver one-on-one (hands on) assisted stretch sessions (25 or 50 minutes). Encourage, motivate, and educate clients throughout their stretch sessions about the benefits of stretching and Stretchlab's specific technique (PNF). Deliver a superior customer service experience, focused on stretching results. Assist sales team in building StretchLab membership and retaining clients. Assist with offsite promotional events as needed. Ensure safety of clients in regards to proper stretch techniques and enforce StretchLab policies and safety rules. Attend team meetings and required educational trainings. Clean & maintain all equipment to ensure availability for client use. Handle member concerns when applicable.
Qualifications :
Background/certification:
Licensed Massage Therapist; Certified Athletic Trainer, Personal Trainer, or Sports Coach; Licensed Physical Therapist (or PTA); Certified Pilates, Yoga or Dance Instructor; Exercise Science; Kinesiology; Other wellness or fitness certifications Passion for helping people improve their flexibility and mobility. Love of open floor plan boutique fitness environment. Experience working in a fitness/health environment where you provided hands-on training with clients. Ability to create a positive environment that welcomes all people. Fantastic communication skills. Must love connecting with people and have passion for helping them achieve their goals. Must have a professional work ethic, be reliable and adhere to our attendance policies. Available to go through our paid Flexologist Training Program, which includes 20 hours of online tutorials, 2 days of in-person/hands-on training and 20 hours of practice.

$20.00 – $27.00 per hour
