Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of students while advancing your career as a school-based Occupational Therapist on a contract basis. Two passionate and committed OTs are needed for the upcoming school year. The district is actively seeking individuals who can collaborate with educators and families to provide vital support for students' educational and functional goals. As placement details become available, you'll have the opportunity to help shape student success across a range of educational settings. This is an excellent chance to utilize your expertise while experiencing the vibrant community near Mason, OH.

Qualifications & Experience Desired:

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Active Ohio OT license (or eligibility to obtain) Experience working in educational or pediatric settings preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills Ability to independently manage a varied caseload and adapt to changing priorities Team-oriented mindset, with a dedication to fostering students' growth and independence

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs for students Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and families to develop IEP goals Provide direct therapy services and consultative support within school environments Document progress and maintain accurate records per state and district guidelines Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to the development of comprehensive educational plans
