Key Qualifications & Experience:
Active Ohio Occupational Therapy (OT) license required Previous experience providing OT services in a school, pediatric, or similar setting is highly valued Comfortable working independently and as part of a team Strong communication skills to interact with students, families, and multidisciplinary colleagues Ability to adapt therapy approaches to accommodate varying needs and age levels
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy interventions to a caseload of 12-15 students in grades K-8 Assess students, establish treatment goals, and document progress in compliance with school and state regulations Collaborate with teachers and support staff to create and adjust individualized education programs (IEPs) Provide consultative support and training for school staff and families to bolster student success Schedule and deliver therapy services within a flexible framework of 16-28 hours per week, across 2-5 days, to best meet student and school needs
