Occupational Therapy Occupational Therapy License Full Job Description About Us:
We are a growing pediatric outpatient therapy clinic dedicated to helping children improve their independence, mobility, and quality of life. Our team provides patient-centered care in a supportive and collaborative environment. We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team.
Position Summary:
The Occupational Therapist (OT) evaluates and treats patients with physical, developmental, or neurological conditions that impact their ability to perform daily activities. The OT will develop individualized treatment plans to help patients regain function, improve independence, and achieve their therapy goals. OT will be responsible for performing evaluations and provide treatments at their own schedule. OT must have their own assessment books.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient goals Implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, adaptive techniques, and home programs Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately and timely Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive clinic culture
Qualifications:
Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Current Florida Occupational Therapist license Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Outpatient experience preferred but not required Benefits (for full-time positions): Flexible scheduling Professional growth opportunities How to
