Part Time Vision Therapist
Job Description
WORK SCHEDULE
16 to 28 Hours per week (minimum 4-hour shifts until 7:30pm; M-F variable between 1:00 - 7:30pm) Saturdays are mandatory workdays with part-time or full-time shifts dependent on clinic operational needs Job offer is contingent on 1-year work commitment Travel between OCVT Westlake and Pecan Park locationsJOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Implement patient VT training program/activities prescribed by the Doctor Consult with patients, parents/guardians regarding VT related training activities. Charting of VT sessions and patient interactions Development & assignment of appropriate patient VT home activities. Enhance vision therapy knowledge by reading articles, case studies, research papers and attendance of VT development workshops/courses. Assist other OCVT team members as needed Training will be provided.QUALIFICATIONS
Experience working with children and adults in an educational or therapy environment is preferred but not required.Excellent communication skills:
