Job Description
Responsibilities:
- OTR will evaluate, treat and create individualized treatment plans.
- Teach patients how to use adaptive equipment and assistive devices to enhance their independence
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, speech therapists, physical therapists etc. to provide comprehensive care
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Document patient evaluations, progress, notes and discharge summaries accurately and timely
- Educate patients and their families on strategies for managing daily activities and promoting overall well-being
- COTA will carry out plan of care
- Help patients reach goals with evidence based practice
- Work with multidisciplinary individuals
- Document in a timely manner
- Passion and drive to provide quality care to the patients
