This reputable district seeks an onsite contract COTA who thrives in dynamic, collaborative environments and is passionate about empowering students across multiple school sites. Youll be an integral part of a dedicated team, providing crucial overflow support to district-level Occupational Therapists and directly impacting students success at school. If you have experience in school-based settings and are ready to help shape young lives, this opportunity is for you.
Desired Qualifications:
Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Valid state licensure (or eligibility to obtain) Strong preference for candidates with previous school-based OT experience Ability to work independently, prioritize caseloads, and adapt to different school environments Proficient communication skills to collaborate effectively with OTs, educators, and families
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct occupational therapy services under the supervision of district OTs Support with therapy planning, progress tracking, and documentation in alignment with students IEP goals Serve students across multiple schools, adapting your approach for various ages and needs Foster positive relationships with school teams and families to support optimal learning Participate in meetings, trainings, and multidisciplinary team activities as needed
