What Youll Need:

Valid, active Occupational Therapist license in the state of Washington Experience or familiarity with school-based occupational therapy practice preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with students, staff, and families Ability to assess, develop, and implement treatment plans addressing fine motor, sensory, and self-care needs Commitment to maintaining professional documentation and participation in student support meetings

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized therapy plans for students K-12 Work with teachers and educational staff to integrate supportive strategies into classroom environments Address a wide range of motor, sensory, and adaptive skill needs in alignment with individual education programs (IEPs) Monitor and document student progress, collaborating regularly with multidisciplinary teams Provide direct therapy sessions and consultative services according to determined schedules and student needs Act as a resource for families and staff regarding therapeutic techniques and adaptive equipment This role offers a flexible part-time schedulework 1-2 days per week, totaling 7-14 hours, tailored around your availability. The assignment runs the full school year, with an immediate start and commitment through June 11, 2027.
