Qualifications:

Current West Virginia OT or COTA license Experience providing pediatric occupational therapy, preferably within a school or similar environment Strong communication and collaboration skills for working closely with teachers, staff, and families Expertise in supporting diverse learning and physical needs Passion for fostering independence and growth in school-aged students

Responsibilities:

Deliver individualized and group therapy services tailored to the needs of K-12 students Assess, plan, and implement treatment programs to enhance academic access and school participation Collaborate with educators and parents to develop and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Document progress, maintain records, and provide recommendations for classroom accommodations Support and educate school staff regarding strategies, adaptive equipment, and student needs Travel between two school sites within the district as required
