Full-Time Setting:
School-Based Soliant is seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join a school-based team in Bradley area for a full-time assignment covering the entire school year. The COTA will provide occupational therapy support across three school sites, working collaboratively with students, families, teachers, and related-service professionals.
Position Highlights:
Services provided across 3 school sites Collaborative educational team Opportunity to support students' functional, academic, and developmental needs Professional support throughout the assignment
Responsibilities:
Implement occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist Provide individual and small-group therapy services Support students with fine-motor, sensory, visual-motor, self-care, and functional school skills Document services and student progress accurately Collaborate with teachers, therapists, administrators, and families Follow IEP goals and school-based service requirements Travel between the assigned school sites as needed
Qualifications:
Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential Appropriate Illinois licensure/eligibility School-based experience is preferred but not required Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work effectively with students and multidisciplinary teams
