Non-exempt Schedule:
8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday with some weekend coverage Your role with us As a valued member of our therapy team, you'll support the rehabilitation services at our Inpatient rehabilitation department by partnering with physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists. As a Therapy Aide, you'll help the department run smoothly by assisting with patient care, cleaning and stocking equipment, and supporting therapists during treatment sessions. What you'll do Assist patients during therapy sessions, ensuring comfort, dignity, and safety. Support therapists with mobility tasks using proper safety techniques. Transport patients to and from therapy areas as needed. Monitor patient well-being and promptly communicate any concerns to staff. Maintain a clean, organized and safe therapy environment. Manage, clean and perform minor repairs on therapy equipment. Stock and organize supplies to support daily therapy operations. Help ensure efficient patient flow and smooth session transitions. Required qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Additional information Successful candidate will have proven experience and a strong passion for working in the rehabilitation field, demonstrating a commitment to improving patient outcomes. Pre-Physical Therapy/Pre-Physical Therapy Assistant students encouraged to apply. Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire required. Driver's License is preferred, minimum of two years and be at least 18 years of age upon hire. Current license to be issued by the state where the employee resides. Must meet Salem Health Fleet Safety Requirements within 90 days of hire and maintain eligibility for continued employment in this position.
