• Supportive leadership and collaborative therapy team Position Summary We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team on a PRN basis.

Under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will provide therapeutic interventions that help residents improve function, independence, and quality of life. Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments as directed by the Occupational Therapist
• Follow physician orders and individualized treatment plans
• Document daily treatment notes, progress notes, and other required therapy records
• Monitor resident progress and communicate updates to the therapy team
• Assist with discharge planning and caregiver education
• Train restorative aides and collaborate with nursing staff as needed
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and care planning
• Maintain therapy equipment and treatment areas
• Report equipment issues and safety concerns promptly
• Ensure compliance with state practice acts, facility policies, and regulatory requirements
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families, and team members Qualifications
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Current South Carolina COTA license in good standing
• Must maintain all required continuing education requirements
• Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care preferred
• Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) and Casamba preferred
