Desired Qualifications & Experience:
Active COTA certification and California licensure required Previous experience delivering occupational therapy support in school settings Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, staff, and families Ability to execute therapy plans under the guidance of an Occupational Therapist Organizational skills to manage documentation and scheduling Collaborative spirit and adaptability to work within multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in executing individualized occupational therapy treatment plans tailored to student needs Support the lead Occupational Therapist in preparing materials and documenting student progress Monitor and report on student outcomes, ensuring goals are being met Participate in team meetings to communicate student progress and help adjust intervention strategies Provide direct support in classrooms and help develop creative activities for skill building Promote independence, participation, and confidence among students This contract position offers a dynamic environment where each day brings new opportunities to inspire and uplift students.
