Key Qualifications and Experience:

Active state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) is required Previous experience in pediatric settings preferredschool-based backgrounds are especially valued Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with students, educators, and families Ability to develop creative treatment plans tailored to childrens individual needs Adaptability, professionalism, and a flexible approach to daily responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver occupational therapy interventions to children with diverse needs in accordance with established IEPs Work collaboratively with occupational therapists, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress Track student performance and maintain accurate, timely documentation Communicate openly with families and school staff regarding student goals and achievements Participate in meetings, trainings, and school initiatives to enhance service delivery
