e2136-32327 Job Description Make a meaningful impact supporting students development as a school-based Physical Therapist in a vibrant learning environment. This full-time, on-site position leverages your expertise in pediatric therapy to help children reach their physical and academic milestones. This opportunity welcomes professionals who enjoy travel assignments and adapting to new school communities.
Qualifications & Experience:
Masters degree in Physical Therapy required Valid state Physical Therapist license (or ability to obtain) Experience or strong interest in working with pediatric populations Previous school-based experience preferred, but passionate new graduates are encouraged to apply Strong communication and collaboration skills for engaging with students, families, and educational teams Ability to adapt interventions to a diverse range of student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide individualized and group physical therapy services to students as outlined in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Conduct comprehensive assessments to guide treatment planning and progress tracking Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students mobility, participation, and success in the school setting Develop and implement therapeutic activities and adaptive strategies that facilitate student independence Document evaluations, session notes, and progress reports in compliance with school and professional standards Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert input to multidisciplinary team decisions
