Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join a rehabilitation team in Sidney, IA. The COTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to help patients improve their daily living and functional skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist Provide therapeutic exercises and activities to improve mobility and independence Monitor and document patient progress and report changes to the supervising therapist Support patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing, grooming, and feeding Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Ensure compliance with facility policies and safety standards
Requirements:
Active COTA license in the state of Iowa Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program Current BLS (AHA) certification Previous experience in a rehab or skilled nursing setting preferred Strong communication and patient care skills Why Join Us?
