Step into a vital role supporting students as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant in a dynamic school setting near Elgin, IL. This contract opportunity runs from now until June 2027, offering the chance to impact learners across several campuses and age groupsfrom preschool through transition-aged students (up to age 22). As a key member of the districts Itinerant Special Education team, you will split your time among multiple school sites, collaborating with educators and related service providers. Schedules align with each assigned schools daily hours, averaging 35-37.5 hours per week. This role is on-site only, with no remote or virtual options available.

Key Qualifications:

Current Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) license through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation Active Educator License from the Illinois State Board of Education Experience in school-based practice (strongly preferred) Ability to work across elementary, middle, and high school environments, adapting to varied student needs Must complete required background checks and fingerprinting promptly

Primary Responsibilities:
